Diverter dampers, otherwise known as bypass dampers, are used to divert the flow or exhaust of gas to, for instance, a stack or heat exchanger. In short, they are used to manipulate the flow of gas to suit your purpose. In our product range, you can find several series of bypass dampers, available in regular steel, stainless steel or other heat resistant materials. To best suit your purpose and application, our diverter dampers are available in different sizes and in different temperature ranges. The Series 38 offers bypass or three-way standard diverter damper valves able to withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Celsius.
While diverter dampers can divert the exhaust flow, louvre dampers have been specifically designed to regulate the exhaust from or air to a burner system. These dampers too are available from Hoogenboom Valves. We offer both dampers from out Series 64 and Series 71, as well as bespoke ones.
